Basement Waterproofing Solutions

Exterior foundation Waterproofing

Basement Waterproofing Solutions specializes in all types of exterior basement waterproofing systems designed to protect and preserve your home’s foundation. Proper surface preparation is critical to long-lasting results; all foundation walls are thoroughly cleaned and dried before any waterproofing materials are applied.

Our exterior waterproofing solutions may include perimeter drainage systems, hydraulic cement repairs, epoxy sealing, liquid-applied rubber coatings, and rubberized sheet membranes. These methods work together to create a complete, durable waterproof barrier that prevents water intrusion and foundation damage.

Project Highlight:
In the example below, trapped water within concrete block wall cavities caused severe foundation deterioration—nearly resulting in structural failure. Basement Waterproofing Solutions completed the repair and waterproofing process before a total foundation collapse occurred, restoring the integrity and longevity of the structure.

Pipe and Wire Penetration Repairs

Basement Waterproofing Solutions provides professional repairs for miscellaneous pipe and wire penetrations through foundation walls—a common source of basement water intrusion. To achieve a long-lasting, watertight seal, waterproofing materials must be carefully applied to fully encapsulate each individual pipe or wire where it passes through the foundation.

When multiple pipes or wires exit the wall in close proximity, they must be properly separated to allow the waterproofing system to bond and seal correctly. If separation is not possible, a reliable and permanent waterproof repair cannot be achieved.

The example below illustrates the importance of proper pipe and wire separation to ensure effective waterproofing and prevent future leaks.

Foundation crack and Superior foundation wall seam repairs

Foundation cracks are a common issue and can allow water to seep into your basement, leading to moisture problems and potential structural damage. Basement Waterproofing Solutions has been professionally repairing foundation cracks since 1961, providing proven, long-lasting solutions.

All foundation wall surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to repair. A double layer of rubberized sheet membrane is then applied over the crack to create a durable, watertight seal. A protective board is installed over the repair to prevent damage during backfilling.

In more severe cases where concrete deterioration is present, a hydraulic cement mixture is first applied to restore the wall surface before the waterproofing membrane is installed. These repair methods are suitable for all foundation types, including Superior Wall® foundation systems.
